Human Resource Generalist – Client Services
At The Project Pros, we help small and medium-sized businesses thrive by taking care of the details—especially HR. We’re looking for a Human Resource Generalist who will work directly with our clients to manage their HR operations, from benefits administration and compliance to employee support and policy management. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and helping multiple businesses succeed through strong HR practices.
What You’ll Do
Provide day-to-day HR support for multiple small and medium-sized business clients, including administering benefits, leave, and performance management programs.
Track and maintain compliance with client-mandated training, certifications, licensure, and HR assessments.
Serve as a trusted HR resource for client employees and management, answering questions, advising on policies, and resolving HR-related issues.
Support client disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations as needed.
Ensure client HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and industry best practices.
Recommend process improvements and HR solutions tailored to client needs.
Stay up-to-date on HR trends, regulations, and technology to provide high-quality guidance to clients.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
2–3 years of HR experience (or more), ideally providing HR support for small or medium-sized businesses.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client priorities.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
